ABOUT ME
BEHIND THE LENS
Let me introduce myself, Jason Lawlor, 36 years old, living in Dublin, Ireland and I've been doing freelance photography for a couple of years. For me, photography is the perfect method to express and spread my passion for creative image. I aspire to do this through my four main areas of photographic interest:-
Lifestyle - In this area of my photograpghy, I try to capture a hybrid look of fashion and beauty. I try to portray images which give a sense of a different life than that of the viewer.
Portrait - Here, I am interested in capturing expression, a mood, possibly mysterious eyes which hint at an inner darkness.
Street - With street photography, I try to capture the human form, namely the interaction of people, expressions, gestures as they go about daily life. For me, the image must provoke questions from the viewer.
Travel - This area, for me, is about showing life in exotic lands. Again, images here should provoke emotion, questions or interest from the viewer.
